The final test results of the study showed an impressive decrease in social anxiety disorder when the group was treated with CBD oil. It lowered the feeling of cognitive impairment and discomfort. The study was published in the journal “Neuropsychopharmacology” under the study title ‘Cannabidiol Reduces the Anxiety Induced by Stimulated Public Speaking in Treatment-Naïve Social Phobia Patients’. The study showed that a single dose of Cannabidiol could significantly lower social anxiety disorder and the symptoms related to it, such as difficulty in delivery of speech, anticipatory speech and cognitive impairment. Additionally, another aspect of the study that is worthy of being highlighted is that it showed that since CBD eased the speaking process for subjects, improved performance of the speaker also enhanced the attention of the audience.
Other valuable details that surfaced in the study as great outcomes were indicated through MRI scans.
